3" LED DUAL ADJUSTABLE DOWNLIGHT

The 3" LED Dual Adjustable downlight provides high performance and beautiful architectural appearance when design requirements for task or accent lighting require two closely spaced downlights with ndependent aiming capability. Designed to utilize the same trim pieces as the rest of the ELEMENT 3" LED series (two per housing), the ELEMENT 3" LED Dual Adjustable can be used in conjunction with the entire 3" family and remain undetectable. Complete independent adjustability allows for lockable hot aiming with 0°- 35° tilt and 361° rotation of both light modules within a single housing.

Flangeless housings (non-wood ceiling option) include die cast plaster plate with no-fill collar that installs after the ceiling to prevent cracking by unifying the plate, ceiling, and housing. Plaster plate is to be mudded over, directly up to the aperture for seamless appearance.
Wood ceiling housings (”WC” designation in the ordering grid) ship with an adjustable trim adapter that inserts into the housing aperture and allows standard ELEMENT 3” flangeless trims to acheive a truly flangeless, flush ceiling appearance in special applications such as wood or stone installation. For use in new construction.

Installation

Flangeless Installation

Installing ELEMENT is easy. Product includes butterfly brackets and adjustable steel hangar bars.Flanged trims have minimal thickness.Flangless trims include a crack-resistant plaster plate with no-fill collar that installs after the ceiling to prevent plaster cracking by unifying the plate, ceiling, and housing.Integral gunsights for positioning with laser levels ensure consistent alignment during installation.



Install housing to the ceiling joists with the adjustable steel hanger bars (shown below).
 

Mount wall board to ceiling and walls.




Attach plaster plate to the aperture using supplied hardware.
 

Skim coat around the plaster plate and up to the aperture for a seamless appearance.
